🎉Join us in the Children`s Department for a kickoff celebration on Friday, 5/29 at 11:15 a.m.
Play is an important aspect of early childhood development, and all children should have free and easy access to a variety of quality toys. Children experience the world through play while also developing fine motor skills, cognitive concepts, language, and social skills. This collection, intended for families to check out for at-home play, includes toys which encourage talking, reading, singing, writing and, of course, PLAYING, all of which are important to the development of early literacy skills.
👏The WTML Toy Library has been created in collaboration with @travelingtoysusa with generous funding from the Norma and Natele Sestero Fund at the Greater Hartford Gives Foundation.
All are welcome to attend to learn more about the Toy Library and to borrow some fun!

The new bestsellers this week include "Sweet Valley Twins 8: First Place," "Alito: The Justice Who Reshaped the Supreme Court and Restored the Constitution," and "Five." The new movies this week include "You, Me & Tuscany," "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come," and "Thieves Highway."
REMINDER: WTML and all other Library Connection libraries are updating to a new software system starting 6/3.
