The Teen Room is a space created just for teens to read, explore, learn, and connect. Whether you love novels, comics, studying, or creative projects, the Teen Room is your place to discover something new.
In the Teen Room, you will find young adult books from fantasy to mystery to romance and sci-fi. We also have graphic novels and manga. Additionally, we host creative programs such as writing clubs, arts and crafts workshops, and game days. The Teen Room also serves as a community space just for teens—meet your friends to study or socialize!

Teens, let your voices be heard! Do you have ideas about the types of programs we have or materials we purchase at the library? Then join us monthly for Teen Advisory Board where you’ll have a chance to help make the Welles-Turner Memorial Library an even better place for you and your friends. As a bonus, membership in TAB will look great on your resume and college applications!
Join us on Mondays at 3 p.m. in the Teen Room for some afternoon fun! We have our Nintendo Switch ready to go, as well as coloring, board games, and snacks.
