Support Welles-Turner Memorial Library

Library Board

The Library Board is an advisory board composed of members recommended by their respective political parties and appointed by the Glastonbury Town Council. Members serve six-year terms and meet five times annually. The Library Director serves as the staff liaison to the Board.

The Friends of Welles-Turner Memorial Library is a nonprofit membership organization that enriches the Library by funding programs and initiatives not covered by the Town of Glastonbury’s budget.

The Second Century Fund is a not-for-profit organization which provides both permanent financial support for the library as well as funding to help meet future large-scale needs. For more information, visit wtml2cf.org.

Volunteers

**THE LIBRARY IS NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS**

The Library utilizes volunteers to enhance public service to the community. Volunteers generally provide support services to staff and/or work on special projects. Volunteers are selected based on their qualifications and the needs of the library at any given time.
