Reserve A Room
Before requesting a room, please read the library’s Meeting & Study Room Policy.
Meeting Rooms
*Meeting room requests must be submitted at least five days in advance*
Meeting rooms (e.g., Friends Room, Glastonbury Room) are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Library programs and activities have priority.
The Friends Room is an open room with sixty chairs and six medium-sized tables that you can configure how you like. It comfortably seats fifty to sixty people, depending on set up. Includes: podium with microphone and HDMI/VGA connectors, built-in ceiling projector, DVD player, wireless microphone, drop-down screen, and a kitchen with a refrigerator and sink.
The Glastonbury Room has large work table in center of room with extra comfortable seating around perimeter of room. It can accommodate up to sixteen people comfortably. This room does not have audio/visual equipment.
The Adult Services Librarian will review your request, and you will receive an email confirmation if your reservation is approved.
Study Rooms
The library has five study rooms. Each patron can occupy a study room for up to 2 hours per day. If there is space available, we’ll let you stay longer (but no guarantees!)
These rooms are NOT soundproof. You may hear noise from other rooms, and other rooms may hear noise from yours.
We can usually accommodate walk-ins for these rooms but we highly recommend calling ahead if you know you will be needing a room at a certain time.
