The Friends of Welles-Turner Memorial Library is a non-profit membership organization. They provide financial support for library initiatives not provided by the Town of Glastonbury budget. DONATIONS
The Friends of Welles-Turner are currently collecting donations for our next book sale. Please leave gently used, clean books—bagged or boxed—in the donation house at the rear entrance to the library. We are unable to accept books that are in poor condition, written in, or damaged.

Please note that donations will be accepted from now until December 20, 2025, and again from January 3 through April 25, 2026.

BOOK STOP FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Please check out our Book Stop on the lower level near the back entrance to the library. The Friends Book Stop is checked and restocked daily. With the holidays approaching, you will find seasonal books and a variety of other treasures that are a great value, as well as beautiful handcrafted bookmarks.

NEW EXPANDED BOOK STOP AREA
Please check out the beautiful new shelves located next to the Friends Room. These shelves provide an expanded Book Stop area. Currently, there are mixed genres available on the shelves, priced at $1.00 per book. Payment can be made in the usual Book Stop cash box located in the lobby area. Stay tuned for more information about upcoming special sales in this area.
