Exhibit Space

The Gallery

A bright, light-filled space in the heart of Glastonbury, the Gallery @ WTML is one of the most beloved areas of the recently renovated Welles-Turner Memorial Library building. This historic space, which also houses the library’s magazine collection and comfortable seating areas, has been decorated to ensure the art displays are the focus for the many visitors. Located just inside the Library’s Main Street entrance, the Gallery provides local artists the opportunity to share their work with the 150,000+ Library visitors each year. Artists exhibiting in the Gallery are also invited to partner with the Library Staff to host an opening event and/or schedule a community workshop if they choose.

Gallery Details:
- Features approximately 59 linear feet of hanging space, typically holding between 15-25 framed pieces (depending on size)
- The height of the wall from the picture rail to the chair rail is approximately 39”
- Works are hung using our picture rail hanging system
